Sam has personally rescued over a hundred abandoned children and is currently responsible for the placement and care of 87 children in foster homes and/or vocational training and other schooling.

After becoming a Christian, Marzi shared her Christian faith with fellow Iranians by distributing thousands of bibles and by participating in the underground Iranian church. In 2009, she was arrested in Tehran for promoting Christianity and was thrown into the notorious Evin prison - one of the most brutal prisons in the world.

While incarcerated, Marzi endured months of mental and physical hardships, including intense interrogation. She was sentenced to death by hanging simply for being a Christian.

Finally, under pressure from human rights and Christian organizations, the Iranian government released Marzi, and she emigrated to the United States where she became an American citizen. Marzi moved to Atlanta and enrolled at Georgia Tech University where she later earned her a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in International Affairs.

Triple A Authority was founded by a Christian. A Christian who after serving as a United States Marine, as a Law Enforcement Officer, and as a United States Green Beret, answered the Call to come to Ukraine and Give all that he has learned back to the Ukrainian People.
“It was revealed to me at a young age that I would serve God full-time in Ministry. What I didn’t know was that God would use all of me for his purpose. All my faults, my good works, and my career decisions, to implement a missionary field that only his wisdom could construct”.
Therefore, I go without fear, without hesitation, and without regard for what we perceive as security. Because my Security is in Christ. With a divine purpose and mission given to me by our God, I go Boldly in Christ's name with his Authority.
Our primary mission involves gaining access and placement with Ukrainian Soldiers in order to preach the Gospel. However, with winter at our doorstep, the Holy Spirit has revealed a need for missions that consist of delivering food, stoves, and firewood to the most vulnerable (consistently elderly along the line of contact).
Then, when the time has come, and the elderly cannot hold out anymore, due to their dire situation (lack of food, freezing conditions, security), we express our love by going into harms way, to find them, receive them, and bring them to a warm/safe location.
It’s through time and interactions with Triple A Authority that Christ is revealed. How we speak, how we train, and how we operate. It’s my hope that every Ukrainian we come in contact with has an opportunity to be ministered to Spiritually.
Thus far, we have seen an overwhelming pouring out of the Holy Spirit during these opportunities. What has happened during this time in Ukraine has been and can be only from the Lord.

Ed serves the Lord as lead pastor of Redemption Church in Mobile, Alabama. Ed began ministry as a church planter in Arizona and came to First Baptist North Mobile in 1994. Ed and his wife Tammy planted the Mountain View Baptist Church in 1987 and saw God bless the birth and establishment of an effective evangelistic church.
He came to a great church with a great vision in Alabama. Since his arrival, North Mobile continues to grow and expand its work in missions around the world. In 2007, Ed and his family, as well as the entire church family, suffered a devastating loss when Tammy was suddenly killed in an automobile accident.
God began to direct North Mobile to see disciple-making as the real imperative of The Great Commission. This and other changes have led to a rebirth of God’s vision. North Mobile has embraced a vision of reaching more and making disciples through church planting and the expansion of multiple locations. In September of 2015, the church relaunched as a new congregation called Redemption Church. God is moving in and through Redemption Church, as people are growing in grace and making disciples who make disciples.
Today Redemption is one church in two locations, both in North and West Mobile. Redemption has helped plant churches in New York City, Cleveland, Ohio, Denver, Tucson, Leesburg, VA, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Northern Virginia, and Las Vegas. Redemption Church is looking to plant more gospel-believing churches in North America.
Ed’s new chapter continues as he married Kathy Ferguson, a pastor’s wife who suffered a similar loss and now leads a ministry to church planters’ wives through the North American Mission Board.
Ed received a Bachelor of Arts from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Ed served as the 63rd president of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Kalim Andraos is an American businessman who invites marketplace leaders to travel with him internationally to encourage and equip leaders of compassionate ministries that provide aid and comfort to hurting refugees.

Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Kalim experienced firsthand the bitter civil war that tore his nation apart from 1975-1990. As a teenager in 1982, he joined the ranks of one million Lebanese who ultimately fled their homeland, settling in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to join other family members.

In 1988, he graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in electrical engineering and entered the business world. Today he is Vice President of Andraos Brothers Inc., a successful independent chain of self-service gas and convenience stores in Winston Salem. As a result of his business acumen, he has served as guest lecturer at the Bryan School of Business at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro where he shared his knowledge and experience on how to become a successful entrepreneur.

A sincere follower of Jesus Christ, Kalim has felt a great call on his life to help refugees in the Middle East as well as the oppressed in North Africa. Since 2010, he has taken numerous teams to aid refugees in Lebanon and Turkey as well as visiting like-minded leaders in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Britain and Germany.

For the past 11 years Kalim has served on the board of NCS Vinebranch, the missional nonprofit arm of New Canaan Society-Winston Salem Chapter. He also serves as Director of International Missions. In addition, he serves on the National NCS Missions Committee. From 2008 to 2012, he was a board member of the National Theological College and Graduate School, an accredited program based in the US that trains pastors in their native countries in the Middle East and Africa.

When not working or abroad on mission trips, he is a frequent speaker at New Canaan Society meetings and conferences, city-wide prayer breakfasts, and churches. He and his wife, Paula, have four children, two of whom live at home. They frequently open their home to accommodate international visitors and host large dinner parties in their honor.

The reality was that I was just a guy from the projects of Minneapolis, Minnesota who grew up on welfare. I lived the part of a Russian 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For the first 13 months of my career, I never spoke a word of English in public or to anyone, except my Uncle Ivan Koloff. After this time, I only spoke in broken English. The character that I "played" was a heartless, cold, and evil person, a man of no compassion for anyone whatsoever. This was an easy character for me to portray, as it wasn't that far from the real me. (I would later become a "good guy" and a fan favorite). Upon my retirement in 1993, I found myself reflecting back on my life and career. Evaluating all that I had accomplished, the accolades, the fame and the fortune, I was confused as to why I still felt empty inside. The world told me that fame and fortune would make me happy, but I had all of these things and was still unfulfilled. In October of 1993, I stepped into a church service and when an altar call was given, in an instant, I immediately knew what was missing in my life. A relationship with Jesus Christ. My life has never been the same. The years of my journey with Lord Jesus, from 1993 to present, have far exceeded the first 34 years of my life. I have been privileged and honored that the Lord has opened doors all over the world for me to minister. I have spoken in churches, schools, prisons and the streets of the U.S. and the world.

As I have shared my story of how God performed "heart surgery" on me, I have witnessed thousands come to Jesus and experience God's awesome power of changing their hearts and lives forever.
The Lord has not only called me to share where He's brought me, He has also birthed messages in me for the church of today. I would be honored to come and be a part of what you are doing and to help further God's kingdom in your city.

guys" came, I was one of the "baddest". The story was that I was a superior athlete who came off the boat, literally, from the Soviet Union to the United States to show Americans what a "real" athlete looked like. A Russian guy who spoke not a word of English. That was the perception of who I was supposed to be. It worked. It is still one of the most talked about events in wrestling history.
The reality was that I was just a guy from the projects of Minneapolis, Minnesota who grew up on welfare. I lived the part of a Russian 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For the first 13 months of my career, I never spoke a word of English in public or to anyone, except my Uncle Ivan Koloff. After this time, I only spoke in broken English. The character that I "played" was a heartless, cold, and evil person, a man of no compassion for anyone whatsoever. This was an easy character for me to portray, as it wasn't that far from the real me. (I would later become a "good guy" and a fan favorite). Upon my retirement in 1993, I found myself reflecting back on my life and career. Evaluating all that I had accomplished, the accolades, the fame and the fortune, I was confused as to why I still felt empty inside. The world told me that fame and fortune would make me happy, but I had all of these things and was still unfulfilled. In October of 1993, I stepped into a church service and when an altar call was given, in an instant, I immediately knew what was missing in my life. A relationship with Jesus Christ. My life has never been the same. The years of my journey with Lord Jesus, from 1993 to present, have far exceeded the first 34 years of my life. I have been privileged and honored that the Lord has opened doors all over the world for me to minister. I have spoken in churches, schools, prisons and the
streets of the U.S. and the world.
As I have shared my story of how God performed "heart surgery" on me, I have witnessed thousands come to Jesus and experience God's awesome power of changing their hearts and lives forever.
The Lord has not only called me to share where He's brought me, He has also birthed messages in me for the church of today. I would be honored to come and be a part of what you are doing and to help
further God's kingdom in your city.
In 1987, Nikita was named Inspirational Wrestler of the Year. In 1993, at the age of 33, in the height of his career, he retired from professional athletics. His wrestling career has taken him to places like Japan, Saipan, Guam, Kuwait, Puerto Rico, Canada and all over the U.S. Business ventures have taken him throughout Europe.

NCS chapters are guided by a few simple principles:

All men are welcome, but NCS is a gathering for men only.
NCS is a “safe place” and in this, we take a cue from A.A. – “what is said here stays here.”
We meet on neutral ground (attractive, convenient locations like restaurants, country clubs, offices and homes… and we avoid meeting in church buildings.)
Membership is free to all. There are no dues or fees to be an NCS “member”.
Any organization that we have is very “flat.” We have no paid chapter leaders. (We view NCS as a movement, not as a formal organization.) This also keeps anyone from dominating and controlling a chapter and its direction. Our model is volunteer leadership teams instead of paid leaders.
Our leadership comes from the marketplace.(Some church leaders & pastors attend, but they are not the leaders of any NCS chapter.)
All of our chapters are always open to anyone at anytime, and easily found. And we have no closed groups or “secret handshakes”.
Perhaps it’s easier to grasp what NCS is not:

We are not a men’s program from a church or any denomination
We are not a Bible Study… although NCSers do read the Bible regularly.
We are not a prayer meeting… although we encourage men to pray.
We are not a counseling service… although there is no doubt we have many stories of guys’ lives being changed together.
We are not a rehab program or a support group– 12 Step or otherwise… although we have taken some principles from A.A. like the need to be brutally honest about your own junk.
We are not a drinking club… although we have plenty of wine, scotch and cognac snobs among us, we also in fact have some recovering alcoholics among us. We are always sensitive to them.
We are not a cigar club… but there’s never any shortage of quality cigars and the accompanying conversations. A great cigar is a great way to start a friendship.
Most men lead lives of quiet desperation…

Men, especially those working in the marketplace, are isolated and alone, distracted and often overwhelmed. They are looking for more from their limited and superficial friendships. The pressures and temptations for men are great. NCS gives guys a place to form deep friendships and experience real growth in Jesus.

We encourage each chapter to form Energy Groups. These groups meet regularly (average twice monthly) and may vary in size from chapter to chapter but are usually 4-6 men, with the purpose of NCS members going deeper into the challenges and opportunities that a member might be facing in his life. It’s a great opportunity for men to help each other in a private, non-oppositional and non-imposing manner. NCS members find that these small groups are both Empowering and Energizing. Thus the name, Energy Groups!

If guys spent more time in friendship with each other and could discuss their temptations, they would need to spend less time asking for forgiveness.

We believe in creating an environment where all men are welcome, no matter what they do for a living, or what mistakes they have made in their lives. Grace is essential to our community.

All of our speakers are followers of Jesus, and we regularly refer to scripture, but many attendees do not have any specific faith view. Men are attracted to transformational stories, and speakers who inspire and encourage us. Often men will find their own lives are changed by their encounters with Jesus, and the encouragement of their NCS brothers.

Come check it out. You will find a community of men who are committed to each other, who laugh together (we don’t take ourselves too seriously) and who walk with each other through life’s challenges.

Rafael Cruz is a powerful example of the American Dream. Born in Cuba, Rafael lived and
suffered under an oppressive dictator. He began fighting Batista’s regime as a teenager, and was
imprisoned and tortured simply because he wanted to be free.
Rafael arrived in Texas in 1957 on a student visa. He got a job as a dishwasher, making 50 cents
an hour, and worked his way through the University of Texas while learning English. He later
built a small business in the oil and gas industry.
In early 1980, Rafael Cruz joined the State Board of the Religious Roundtable, a Judeo-Christian
organization that mobilized millions of people of faith during the Presidential Campaign of
Ronald Reagan.
Rafael is an ordained minister and the Director of Grace for America, sharing the Word of God
in churches and pastors’ conferences throughout the United States.
His son, Ted Cruz, is a constitutional conservative U.S. Senator from Texas and candidate for
United States President in 2016.
When Ted was a child growing up in Houston, Rafael would tell him, “When we faced

Born October 1950. Always in church with family for 12 years leading singing on Sunday nights. Dad died 10-20-963, while teaching his Sunday School class, 2 days before my birthday.
I was very angry with God and wanted nothing to do with Him for 30 years. Meeting, dating, and marrying Susan in 1973. Began working as pharmacist for Eckerd in 1974 in Hickory, NC until my recent retirement 6-24-18.
September 1993 attended Via De Cristo and confessed my need for Jesus to become my Savior, LORD, friend, and Brother.

Joined 1st Baptist Church, Hickory, NC served as teacher and Deacon. Bible Study Fellowship as member and discussion leader. Began summer Tuesday Bible Study at home when BSF ended for the summer.
Move to Advance NC 1997. Joined Calvary Baptist Church 1/1998 served as Substitute Teacher, Teacher, Assistant Director of Adult 3 BF, Deacon.
Thursday afternoon women’s Bible Study for 3+ years at our home.
Joined Grace Bible Church 7/2018. Sunday school teacher, Wilmington NC flood outreach. Grace to Go men’s ministry. Remove, renovate soil, design and plant front flower bed at GBC, facilitate GB Church Thursday 9:30 AM men’s bible study. Care group host and leader for GBC.
In ministry building relationships for HIS glory.

Ty Lunberry started his career as an architect with a degree from Kanas State University after graduation he eventually went to Japan working as a naval architect. After his return to the states God eventually led, he and his family to become missionaries. The first assignment was in Uganda where he taught architecture wile working for the Lord. Ty and his wife where teaching and leading people to Christ. Eventually they founded an orphanage then God opened another door for them in Tanzania then eventually in India.
