We have designed and implemented a local reentry program centered on discipleship where our ministry volunteers present the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ and provide biblical instruction to inmates. When an inmate is released, follow up is anchored by local churches, facilitating successful reentry of inmates into the community. Released inmates are also directed to pertinent support services for any employment, educational, or recovery needs. We see God’s purpose for our ministry being the successful reentry of released inmates into their communities creating a culture that says Christ is the solution to man’s problem of depravity and separation from God, and our belief is God’s purpose of changed hearts making changed lives will prevail (Proverbs 19:21).
